Atrocity started out as a Death Metal band from Germany, but ever since, they have done just about everything under the sun (or moon). They have sported many guests on their albums, including Kristine Espenæs of Theatre of Tragedy fame and now married to Atrocity front man Alex Krull. Liv was a guest on Atrocity's 1997 collection of '80s covers, "Werk 80". She again would surface on the 2004 album 'Atlantis', producing a fantastic cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic "Sound of Silence". Alex and Liv would combine to create another absolutely fantastic Gothic Metal band, Leaves' Eyes.
Other Atrocity guests have included Das Ich and Yasmin. The first few albums were hardcore Death Metal, but over time, they have managed to slowly make their music more accessible.
